Donna is originally from Hillsborough, NC. Her educational history includes earning a BA in Psychology from Elon University. She earned a Master’s degree in Health Sciences from the Duke University Physician Assistant Program in Durham, NC.
Donna’s professional interests include general psychiatry, evaluation and treatment of ADHD, and working with patients diagnosed with cancer and other serious physical illnesses and their family members. Before joining Dr. Mark O’Daniel and Associates, and subsequently Family Works Psychological Center, Donna worked for Crystal Coast Radiation Oncology as a Physician Assistant where she cared for patients undergoing radiation therapy, and frequently interacted with her patients’ families.
Donna’s interest in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder developed when her son was diagnosed with ADHD when he was ten years old. She was a founding member and Vice President of the Lincolnshire, IL, CHADD chapter.
Donna provides medical psychiatric services including evaluation, medication prescription, and follow-up medication management under the supervision of Dr. O’Daniel.
